In the last 2 years we've been honoured to bring you performances from some of the worlds most exciting new musical talent. Debut performances from Vondelpark, Tek-One and Zoo Kid, a final farewell from The Metros, legendary shows from Hype Williams, Jammer, IO Echo, Fiction and Trophy Wife and memorable DJ sets from Pariah, Yolanda Be Cool, Two Door Cinema Club, Kavsrave and countless more. To celebrate we're having a one-off party at the infamous Roundhouse in Camden, as part of their annual Roundhouse Rising Festival.

With a focus on inspiring and celebrating young talent, the Roundhouse Rising Festival is a true one of a kind. A series of workshops run during the festival, and we welcome Clinic to run a zine workshop in the build up to our Friday night event.

Our line up features two of our favourite guests from the last 2 years, the magical DT and Beaty Heart, alongside the much hyped and amazing Swimming and hotly tipped Chicago based producer Brenmar.

After swapping his hip-hop roots for a vintage 90’s sound, Lone stands out as the most innovative artist in the post-millenium rave revival. His recent album ‘Emerald Fantasy Tracks’ blew us away with noisy synth stabs and more 808 snare in individual tracks than should be allowed on a whole LP! As stunning and alarmingly talented live as he is in the studio, this is a rare chance to catch him working through his influences in an intimate space.

D/R/U/G/S

Electro bands are ten-a-penny these days, but D/R/U/G/S craft a sound so addictively danceable that’s it’s impossible to deny them their recent rise in the scene. An approach to live electronics that borders on the insane, and the rumour of an airhorn orchestra will make this show an unmissable end to the year.

MARTIN KEMP

After the booming success of his early EPs led him to touring the States, the younger brother of Brackles is back on the circuit cutting up some of the heaviest bass and garage around. An understated gem and one to keep an tab on.

STREETS OF BEIGE

A pioneering bass night showcasing some of the most innovative artists from the UK, and soon the US. Residents Bare Girls and Fat Controller will be plucking the best beats of 2010 for an end of year smasher.

First famed as front woman of Baleric-Nu-Rave types Bonde De Role (Mad Decent/Domino), since leaving the band in 2007 she has been developing a much more grown up and developed sound. This is the last of 4 shows in all four corners of London promoting her debut single, her gigs have surprised and entertained audiences, with Marina adopting a new punk persona. We can barely contain our excitement at having Trophy Wife on the line up for the 26th. Since first hearing their debut single 'Microlite' we've been massive fans of the band, that have recently completed a huge tour with fellow Oxfordians Foals, whose inspiration shines through in their perfect alt-pop sound. The NME review of their show at Electrowerkz last week is heaped with praise and rightly includes the words "luscious", "glimmering" and "blessed". Second on the bill on the 26th November is Prizes. Formerly known as Treasure, Hari Ashurst's incredible project will take to the stage in full-band form. Critically acclaimed by the likes of Pitchfork, Stereogum, The Line of Best Fit and Neu Magazine, and rightly so, Prizes take you on a haze-pop journey through a mixture of loops, samples and melodies to die for. One of just a few shows for Hari and co in the latter half of this year, we're sure that they'll transport us back to one of those hot summer days that already feel so long ago.

After a summer that saw us co-host a stage at Lovebox, bring Yolanda Be Cool to London for the first ever time and drag Tek-One up to Nottingham to blow minds, Fuck the White Board returns to the Macbeth with a celebration of forward thinking dance music.

Our headline artists are two of the most mysterious and illusive artists currently streaming from the blogosphere. Hype Williams and Vondelpark prefer to shy away from the spotlight while creating some of the most forward thinking and exciting music coming out of the city of London. Both operating in similar relms, experimenting with loops and samples while colliding the old and the new to produce blissful modern dance music.

Support comes from ex-Shit Disco project Age of Consent, with DJ sets from FTWB favorites Visions of Trees and Night Slug's Jam City.

Last month saw Fuck the White Board celebrate its birthday in style, with a completely full venue (1 in 1 out) enjoying a night that came with all the trimmings.

Now we're back and heading into our second year of existence with another massive line up. New Cross alt-rockers DEAD RED SUN open the show, they're followed by 2 debut performances: South East London's experimental-pop DIK OOZ and much-hyped (by us) synth-pop future-stars D.T. Headlining we are honored to have one of our favorite British bands and the critically-loved 'saviors of British Metal' INVASION.

End of the night DJ sets come from Bournemouth's hugely talented electro-demon TEEN SYMMETRY, Garage/2-Step producer SAM DIAMOND, Chatham's REEKIE and East-Londons freshest female DJ-Duo the QUEENS OF BOYZ.

Fuck the White Board is 1 year old! The past year has seen guests such as La Shark, Islet, The Spivs, The Saudis, Filthy Boy, O Children (DJ), Hatcham Social (DJ), Esser (DJ), Two Door Cinema Club (DJ), Mystery Jets (DJ) as well as the first ever Tek One gig and the last ever gig from The Metros, (and a memorable 'performance' from The MOB Girls)...

Now its time to celebrate with our biggest ever line up and a 4am licence to match. As eclectic as ever, and with a few surprise acts on the night, this looks set to be a birthday party to remember (if you can).

As well as a surprise set from one of our favorite guests of the last year, live music comes in the form of Hackney's young pop-rock hopefuls THE BREAKS, the dirty scuzz-punk of HERPES (who are coming over from Berlin for the show), a special live set from hottly tipped producer THE CAULFIELD BEATS and a headline set from everyones favourite party starter, Big Dadda signing and grime MC + producer extrodonaire, JAMMER.

Topping the DJ line up is one of London's most highly-regarded young producers PARIAH, the XX's remixer-of-choice and the blog worlds favorite starlet, we welcome him back with open arms! Also selecting tunes to keep the party rolling will be the mighty Lovvers, the amazing Cock'n'Bull Kid, Brighton's finest young electro DJ Action Jackson, the handsome young men behind Dollop and Metros-drummer-turned-excellent-DJ Freddie Von Behr. If that wasn't enough there will be a surprise set from one half of east London's most-loved tech producers, and some early song choices from FTWB residents Russ Tannen and Al Harley.

There will also be free birthday cake and party hats for all AND some rubbish presents of some kind for those arriving early!

We'll also be doing white board photos for the blog (which is how this chaos started), so get thinking about your birthday messages!

Lightening Bolt, The White Stripes, Shy Child, Death From Above 1979, The Kills, Chas and Dave… the power of 2 has been more dominant than ever in the last decade of music, and Fuck the White Board returns in 2010 with a line up celebrating this fact.

A varied Live bill featuring three of the UKs most exciting two-members bands - the fiersome experimental rock of GUN CRIME, the upbeat electro bass beats of ROTKAPPCHEN, and the intense Dubstep of TEK-ONE, as well as DJ sets from Fabric Union's Lemmy Ashton and Fuck the White Board residents Russ Tannen and Al Harley.

Fuck the White Board fittingly ends the year where it started at the Macbeth for a HUGE XMAS 12 HOUR PARTY running all the way till 4AM!!!

Playing LIVE are the incredible LA SHARK (http://www.myspace.com/lasharkband) whose constantly swelling fan base has reached epic proportions and rightly so. Their live show is something that, in the least cheesy way possible, simply HAS to be seen. Post-Punk Brilliance.

BEATY HEART (http://www.myspace.com/beatyheart) are 4 Goldsmiths students creating a beautiful racket which draws instant comparisons to many critics band of the year, Animal Collective. Their debut gig at the Old Blue Last just last month was one-in-one out as soon as the band were playing the opening notes of their first track.

SILHOUETTE (http://www.myspace.com/iamasilhouette), lead by the infectious Helena Gee, create brooding perfect pop music. Their debut single 'Masuerade' came out on the effortlessly essential Cool For Cats records this year.

Opening are our favorite new band playing their 2nd ever london gig - WORSHIP (http://www.myspace.com/worshipuk), the first of what is likely to be a welcome mass of post-XX bands emerging in 2010, Worship are already causing the industrys chins to collectively start wagging.

DJing are a set of people who need no introductions, we are honored to have some of our favorite artists of the last 12 months manning the decks. ESSER, TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, HATCHAM SOCIAL and THE COCK'N'BULL KID. Plus sets from LEMMY ASHTON (Fabric Union) and Fuck the White Board hosts RUSS TANNEN and AL HARLEY.

If that wasn't enough there will be the ultimate XMAS BBQ on the roof, expect burnt mince pies and melted toblerones.

Starting at 4pm is FUCK THE WORKSHOP, get together make a zine, make something christmasy for our decorations (or you mum), or just get an early pint and watch some sound checks.

We'll also be doing White Board snaps for the blog, so start thinking of your xmas-related comments/drawings/nonsense.
